The "saving food" project started with an enlightened idea and support from His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, to launch the Fujairah Charity Association since 2004, through which 6 million, 969 thousand and 400 meals will be distributed to the poor and needy throughout the 15 years, from the inception of the project until the end of 2019

The project is growing and evolving day by day from Fujairah to Dibba and the surrounding areas, with a staff of 20 people and 10 cars specially equipped to transport and keep food fresh, where the project distributes thousands of meals packaged health and safety procedures to the needy groups of workers and families in need throughout the emirate of Fujairah, Within the framework of the initiatives of the association in 2020, a new idea was implemented in cooperation with the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and endowments in Fujairah, where 60 scalable sites in most mosques of the emirate of Fujairah and Dubai in neighborhoods and communities are equipped with food storage refrigerators and water freezers.
The project is aimed at achieving the principle of solidarity among members of the community and its role in spreading the culture of food preservation in the community, and establishing the spirit of volunteerism and creating a climate that helps the participation of members of the community in the delivery of excess food to the beneficiaries, after the availability of conditions and standards of quality and in placing fresh foods in refrigerators Saving grace
